The conference will take place at the Masaryk Dormitory, Thákurova 1, Prague 6.
The Masaryk Dormitory is situated in the Dejvice district of Prague, just 30 minutes from the Václav Havel International airport. To find the venue, you can follow these directions.
The building was constructed in the 1920s with the financial support from Czechoslovak president Tomáš Garrigue Masaryk. It was designed by architect Antonín Engel and built in a very modern style, equipped with facilities such as a library, a study room, an ironing room, a barber shop, a fencing hall or even a darkroom. At first, the building housed students of the technical university, during World War II it was used by the German Gestapo. From 1950 to 1989 the building housed the Ministry of National Security and later the Ministry of the Inferior (housing a section of StB, the state police).
